IQAC, or Internal Quality Assurance Cell, is a quality assurance initiative in higher education institutions, established to improve and sustain quality in academic and administrative functions. It is a post-accreditation measure introduced by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which aims to develop a system for consistent and catalytic improvements in performance, focusing on areas like teaching-learning, research, and student support. The IQAC is responsible for creating a quality culture, developing benchmarks, and preparing the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for submission to NAAC.
